Aristocrat Gets First-Ever UAE Gambling Vendor License

Aristocrat Gaming, a leading gambling technology company, has made history by becoming the first recipient of a General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) vendor license in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This approval allows the Sydney-based company to provide both land-based slot machines and online technology and games to licensed commercial operators in the region. Some of their popular titles include Buffalo Gold, Dragon Link, and Dollar Storm.

In a statement released on Monday, Aristocrat Gaming CEO Hector Fernandez expressed his pride in being the first global technology provider to receive a vendor license in the UAE. He also stated that the company is committed to delivering top-notch gaming content, hardware, and services that cater to the preferences and interests of players in the region.

Wynn Resorts is another notable company that has recently secured a commercial gambling license in the UAE, making it the only other operator besides Aristocrat Gaming to receive such approval. Wynn Resorts is currently in the process of constructing a resort in Ras Al Khaimah, which is set to open in the first quarter of 2027. Additionally, The Game LLC has also been granted a permit to operate the UAE Lottery, further expanding the gambling landscape in the region.

Overall, the approval of Aristocrat Gaming’s vendor license marks a significant milestone in the development of the gambling industry in the UAE. As more companies like Wynn Resorts and The Game LLC enter the market, the landscape of gambling in the region is expected to evolve and expand, providing new opportunities for both operators and players alike.
